France-Vietnam Sorbitol Joint Stock Company is the first Sorbitol (70% syrup) production plant in Vietnam with a capacity of 30,000 tons/year at Tan Hoi 1 Industrial Cluster, Tan Hoi Commune, Tan Chau District, Tay Ninh Province., Vietnam.
Sorbitol factory uses technology of Novasep process Sas Group (France). Hydrogenation system uses technology of BIAZZI Switzerland.
Sorbitol is a high-tech product of TANICHEM, produced entirely from tapioca starch of natural origin, meeting European standards 1995L0031- EN- 29.12.2006 – 005.001.
The French – Vietnamese Sorbitol Factory produces two main types of Sorbitol:
- Sorbitol syrup 70% DS for food use: Used as an emulsifier, stabilizer, Used as a sweetener in diet products, soft drinks, ice cream and confectionery.
- Sorbitol syrup 70% DS for cosmetic use: Due to its moisturizing effect, Sorbitol is used as an emollient with a content of 10 sử 20% or used as a stabilizer with a content of 3 ÷ 5% in products. in skin care products, shampoos and hair conditioners, in toothpastes, Sorbitol is used with a content of 35 ÷ 40%.
