Since 2010, France – Vietnam Sorbitol Joint Stock Company has been the first Sorbitol (70% syrup) factory in Vietnam with a capacity of 30,000 tons/year at Tan Hoi 1 Industrial Cluster, Tan Hoi Commune, Tan Chau Town , Tay Ninh province, Vietnam.
Sorbitol is a high-tech product of TANICHEM, produced entirely from tapioca starch of natural origin, meeting European standards 1995L0031- EN- 29.12.2006 – 005.001.
The French – Vietnamese Sorbitol Factory produces two main types of Sorbitol:
– Sorbitol syrup 70% DS for food use.
– Sorbitol syrup 70% DS for cosmetics.

The sweetener sorbitol (liquid form) is widely used in the food industry such as the production of other soft drinks, confectionery, chocolate, ice-cream softeners, and in industries such as the manufacture of pharmaceuticals and animal products. as well as used in the seafood processing industry.
Sorbitol syrup 70% DS for pharmaceutical use.
Because of its moisturizing effect, Sorbitol is used as an emollient with a concentration of 10 20% or as a stabilizer with a content of 3 5% in skin creams, shampoos and hair conditioners. , in toothpastes, Sorbitol is used with a content of 35 ÷ 40%.
